Use multiple ruler pairs

Post by ckunert »

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a more elegant way to perform multiple measurements on the same waveform.
I currently want to measure high and low pulsewidth of my signal and use the measurement statistics (min, max, avg) too.

My signal has multiple pulse I want to know about.

Currently my option to do this with picoscope is to add one view with the same traces for every pulse I want to measure and then add the measurement and shift the rulers.

I think it would be nice to add more rulers (different shapes?) and then assign my measurement "between rulers" to rulerpair C, another measurement (the same type) to rulerpair D...

Then I can use my one big view instead of having 9 small ones.

Hi ckunert,

I have added your comments to an existing feature request.

The only option for now is to use multiple scope views.

Hi,

I wonder if this feature has already been implemented on the current PicoScope 6 version.

Hi jpauloo,

You can use 'Deep Measure' from the Measurements Menu to give you multiple measurements of multiple pulses, and then export a CSV file to perform the stats in a CSV reading tool, such as Excel, Matlab, Wolfram, etc.
