Screen Capture

Post by pnb »

Pico 2205, PicoScope 6.12.7.2687, Win10, Dell i7 Laptop.
I am trying to record some traces for sharing with a colleague who does not use Pico, XY and Spectrum, but Edit>Copy Entire Window only gives me part of it. Is there a setting I should alter somewhere?
Also, I would like to make a movie of the buffer contents, is that possible with Picoscope?

Thanks
PS 2205, TC-08, Win10 64bit

If you want to capture how the screen looks I would use the windows "ALT PrintScreen" key combination to save the full PicoScope Window.

However if you colleague installs PicoScope 6 they will be able to load a saved psdata file. They can then zoom in, add measurements and much more, all without a scope attached, so maybe this offers a better option to share the data.

File->SaveAs gives the options to save an animated gif, jpg and plenty of other options.
