Bug starting/stopping capture.

Post by mwelchuk »

Running:
picomono/stable,now 2.10.8-1r02 amd64 [installed,automatic]
picoscope/stable,now 6.11.13-4r3 all [installed]

On Debian Jessie.

Unable to restart capture by clicking the "Go" button (in lower left-hand corner of GUI) after pressing "Stop" button. Only way to restart capture seems to be clicking the "Home" button, but this resets all the settings.

When have "single" trigger mode selected, dialog in bottom left corner continues to show "running" after waveform captured and "Go" button still toggled. Click "Stop" and can't start again. For some reason can click "Go" and it switches to "Stop" being toggled, but again, unable to get it back to running state. This is really frustrating if trying to measure a signal which defaults to 0v as there's to way to select the trigger value before switching the trigger mode and it fires straight away...

Hi mwelchuk,

This has been reported to our Development Team - it sounds like an existing issue which they are aware of.

Hi,

That was back last November. Any news nine months on?

Hi Martin,

Our Software Test team should be testing a build soon (once they have completed test of a different build) so depending on the outcome, there may be a new version in the near future.
