PicoScope2202 under LabView 8.0

Post by gotcham »

Hi, we would like to use the PicoScope2202 in a Automated Test Equipement under LabView 8.0.
If we try to run the LabView Examples under LabView 8.0 the Errormessage is that the Examples are not valid LabView Files.
If we try to run the LabView Examples under LabView 7.1 it starts to open the files but LabView allways try to open the same file PS2200.vi again.
Could you help us?

PicoScope2202 under LabView 8.0

Post by davidj »

Hi
The 2202, as an entry level oscilloscope does not have driver support for use with anything other than PicoScope and PicoLog software.
If the instrument is new, please contact your supplier who will be able to advise on an alternative, more suitable product.
Regards,
David

LabView Driver not Working

Post by gotcham »

Hi, we would like to use many of this oscillosipe for a Burn In in a Automated Test System. Therefore the price for one piece is important. It was clarly indicated that the LAbView Drivers are included in the delivery. But they are definitly not working. So it seems me not serious to say now that we should purchase a mor e expensive product. Could you please send us a proper working driver?

Hi

Thank you for your post.

The PS2202 does not come with driver support and thus it is not stated that it does. Instead you will need to use a different unit such as a PS3000 series scope.

There are 2000 series drivers available but these are for use with the PS2104 and PS2105 handheld scopes. They cannot work with the PS2202.

Best Regards
