Uninstall old software before upgrading?

I have failed to find any reference when upgrading the Pico software for tht ADC 211. Does one have to uninstall the old version before installing the new one? I am having some problems installing the newest version.

After looking through the other posts I found the answer. Yes uninstall the old version first. Would like to see this bit if information added to the download site. One never knows if the newer versions have just the added information or the complete program1
