Picoscope only allows minimise and maximise

Post by Guest »

Have I done something wrong?
I changed the background colour, saved the settings, and now when I click Top Right Hand Corner of the screen to resize the application, it minimises.
So I can now only get the effect of minimise ( no picoscope on view), or maximise ( nothing BUT picoscope).

I am using the latest version (loaded yesterday).
I have tried reverting back to a previous version, totally uninstalling picoscope, and re-installing, but the little bugger is still there !!

ADC200/100

parallel port, but I also have the usb converter driver loaded, but the converter is not connected

p.s I also get "picoscope failed to open the startup screen" error message
when i run the program, the screen maximises and goes white.
If I acknowledge the error, after 3 or 4 messages, it runs the program OK (apart from the minimises problem)

Hello Mike,

Thank you for your post.

Try deleting the psw.ini file that resides in the .../pico technology/pico full/ directory.

This should eradicate the problem.

Also, can you send us the psw.ini file so we can test this problem out here?

Many thanks,
Michael

psw.ini contains :-

[PicoScope for Windows]

Hi

Does this happen in the new 5.14.6 version? I have tried changing the colours in this and it did not show any problems.

Try uninstalling the other version, delete the Pico directory (be sure to back up any saved waveforms) and then install the new version. If you are still seeing problems with this version then let me know and I will look into it further.

Best Regards
