Math Channel Filters , filter characteristics??
Math Channel Filters , filter characteristics??
What are the filter characteristics for the filters available in Maths Channel -> Create -> Advanced/Filters??
Re: Math Channel Filters , filter characteristics??
Hi,
Please see the PicoScope 6 User's Guide, page 76 - Advanced buttons (Filters group)

Re: Math Channel Filters , filter characteristics??
I wanted to know more precisely! I'd like to know the steepness, max attenuation, ripple, and phase characteristics.
I suppose they're FIR filters, finite number of taps seems to say precisely that.
How many taps? What tap delays???

Re: Math Channel Filters , filter characteristics??
Hi,
All the Filters are FIR and use a 'Hamming window' in the filter design.
They are limited to 32,000 taps (this defines the minimum lowpass frequency in the channel options).
This page explains FIR filter design-
