PicoScope 6.11.10.1608 bug report

Post by Steven Brown »

I have a PicoScope 2105 handheld oscilloscope that I have used on a Windows XP computer but have never used on my Windows 10 computer. Today I plugged the scope into my Windows 10 computer, downloaded and installed the latest version of the software and driver, PicoScope 6.11.10.1608. A problem that immediately became apparent is that DC coupling does not work. The scope responds to AC inputs, but when the probe is connected to a 9 volt battery, the software displays zero volts, even with DC coupling selected. Restarting the computer did not fix the problem.

Fortunately, I still have the CD that came with the oscilloscope, so I un-installed the driver and Picosope software from my Windows 10 computer and re-installed the driver (version 2.0.8.44) and Picosope 6.4.92.0 from the CD, and now the oscilloscope works perfectly.
