Measuring Grid Voltage with Pico Scope

Post by Stavros A. Pressas »

I have just bought the PICOSCOPE 3205.
Can anybody tell me which is the maximum input voltage to its chanels?
I want to watch 220 V RMS AC Voltage Waveforms (- 311V to + 311 V peak to peak)
Is there any probe X 100?
Thank you.

Hi

Thank you for your post.

The PS3000 range has a maximum voltage input level of ±20V. If you want to measure mains voltage then you will need an isolating probe. We have a X10/X100 probe that might be of interest to you - it will enable you to measure up to ±700VDC. It is priced at £195 + tax and delivery.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
