error message at statup

Post by obp »

Hi,

Since several time, when I run Picoscope 6 or I use "File|load startup settings" , I obtain a warning message "Veuillez relier un fichier csv valide. Le fichier relié est peut-être vide". A possible translation is "Please, link a valid csv file. May be the file is empty". How to correct this problem without to loose my settings?

Regards

Hitesh

Hi,

Do your startup settings include serial decoding?

If so, is there a link file that is not present?

Hi,

Yes, I use serial decoding. I didn't specify link file. I don't find a Windows where link file are requested. In which Windows can I remove the link file?

Hi obp,

Would it be possible for you to send the folder containing the most recent default.PSSETTINGS and trace.xml files to support@picotech.com please?

This can be found in a folder in the following location on your PC:

C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Pico Technology\

There will be one or more folders with a long alphanumeric name. Please zip up the the directory and send it to the above address.

I will then try to see if I can reproduce the issue here.

Are you using PicoScope 6.8.11?

Hi,

I use Picoscope 6.8..11.20 on Win XP SP3.
I didn't found the files neither the folder that you request to me. (I checked the option to display hidden folders).

For example if I search *.psset* , I found nothing. I found "Pico Technology" only in start menu and Program files folders.

What can I do?

Regards

Hitesh

Hi obp,

On Windows XP you should find the folders under

C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Application Data\Pico Technology\

Please see if you can find the files.

Thanks,
