i2c trigger

Post by ralphb »

How do I get the trigger on i2c decode to correctly work. The trigger need to be while the clock is high and the data fall, but this does not seem to be possible on the pico scope.

Thanks in advance

Dear Ralph,
the best way to do this is to use the advanced trigger menu and select the Digital option towards the bottom of the list. Within this menu you can select low or high level or a rising or falling edge. You can see from the attached file that I have set the triggers to:-
D1 (clk) to high level and
D2(data) to falling edge and the pre-trigger to 40% .
There is also a very good video http://www.picoscope.tv/mso/basic-config.html which you may find useful.
I hope this answers your question?
Kind regards,
Ian
