Picolog CM3 Current Data Logger slow response time

Post by Maxste »

Hi there,

I am using the CM3 data logger and it has such a slow response time that it is unusable at it is.
Basically if I input a square wave, the rising time and falling time are about several minutes whereas it is instantaneous (checked with an "classic" oscilloscope).

The conversion time (which I believe is what I am looking at here ) is meant to be 720ms, which is slow but fine for my application, not several minutes.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Martyn

It's possible that the voltages from the current clamp are at a very low level, a different clamp that provides a higher voltage for a given current should provide a faster response.
