temp measurement with adc 24bit

Post by crotty »

I am new on this post.....
I have an adc 24 bit and wish to measure temps along side (in time ) the pressure I measure. I use the terminal board supplied with the adc. What and how do/can I connect.

Hi Crotty,

With an ADC-24, you would be looking at using thermistors to measure temperature.

Please refer to the terminal board user guide http://www.picotech.com/document/pdf/ad ... uide-5.pdf. Section 2.5 deals with measuring temperature.

You would need to connect the wire supplying the measurement to one of the channels, and the other to the analogue ground terminal on the board.

For sensors with voltages beyond the +/-2.5V range use a voltage divider connection on the terminal board.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
