Connecting TC08 with MCU

I am using 4 set of TC08 for 2 years and am very happy with it together with my PC/Window platform. Now I want to extend it to 10 unit but it is very expensive if every TC08 need to connect to a computer. Want I want to do is to connect the TC08 to a microcontroller (MCU) through UART (RS232) to form a cheap solution. My question is on the protocol of the TC08, we use the library comes with the TC08 in VB/VC at the old day but protocol is needed if I want to communicate in MCU. Any body here (or Pico technical support ppl) can help me? Thanks.
