DrDaq/pico log latest

Post by cornz »

Can anyone answer why, whenever i try to install the latest pico log, it installs, then rolls back saying the process was interrupted??
I dont touch anything, it just does.
Its a FRESH windows 2000 install on an old P3 laptop, with a proper parallel port.
I am an administrator, nothing else is running.
Very very annoying.

Hi Conz,

To investigate this we will need an "Install" log file to see what is going wrong.

Here are the details of how to generate an Install.log file:-
Please create a "C:\Temp" directory and copy the executable file into it. Make sure the unit is not plugged into the PC. Now go to the Windows "Start" button, then select "Run" and in the command line box copy and paste the following:-

C:\Temp\FILENAME.exe /v"/L install.log"

Click "OK" and PicoFull will start to install in the usual way. At the end, whether the software has installed properly or not, there will be an "Install.log" file in the "C:\Temp" directory. Please email that file to me and we can then see what has gone wrong with the installation.
