ADC-212 Phase Measurement

Post by GUEST »

Hello All

Using PicoSocpe software V5.16.2 - 32 bit controlling a parallel ADC-212.
I have 1V 50Hz going into channels A and B. I have put a phase shift between channel A & B. In the scope mode I can view the two signals but I can not configure the measurement screen to display phase. I need to select both channels A & B but the box for this is greyed out. I have managed it before with this set up but can't get it to work this time. Any ideas?

Hi,
We have never had the facility in PicoScope5 to directly measure phase angle between two channels. There was a measurement involving phase in spectrum view but it caused too much confusion, people were thinking it was a phase measurement for scope view so that was removed a while ago.
You will need to measure the time separation of the two traces (using cursors) and compare it with the period to calculate the phase. Sorry.
Regards,
PeterF.
