Problem with saving CVS data to file

Post by PAK »

Hi,
I recently purchased a 4000

I'm trying get a trace of voltage measurements on CH_A and CH_B as well as plotting and A-B reading. The problem is that when i try to save the output of a trace to file all the readings saved are the same for each channel - which is definately not what the plot shows.

Also, if i try to "save All waveforms" as CVS files then i end up with multiple files with all with different readings.

It really doesn't make any sense. Can you please tell me what's is going on?

Having spent a bit more time looking at this I think the only problem is that you have a bug with “Save current waveform” where only CH_B readings are dumped to the CSV file as both CH_A and CH_B readings.

PAK,

What software version are you using? Try out R6.3.4 which you can download from http://labs.picotech.com/ and see if this fixes your save as CSV issues...

Hi this is a known problem and has been fixed in the beta software 6.3.4 as Richard mentioned, this is however a beta software but should stand you in good stead until we have a full release.

Kind regards
