C# / .NET compatibility

Post by ColdHorizon »

Hi Folks,

I am seriously considering purchasing a PicoScope 3224, as it appears to be a good fit to my requirements.

However, it is essential that I be able to write my own software in C# (using Microsoft Visual Studio) to control the scope.

Unfortunately your website states that you don't provide any examples of .NET applications. Why is that? Is there a compatibility issue that means you can't guarantee the PicoScope drivers will work reliably under the .NET framework?

Basically I need to be confident that, if I purchase this product, it can be made to work with C# in a robust fashion, without the need for fiddly workarounds.

Thanks & Regards,
Brendan.

Hi Brendan

It is possible to use our drivers with .net.

PicoScope 6 (http://www.picotech.com/picoscope-oscil ... tware.html) is a .net application.

The SDK for the 3000 includes ps3000.cs. The SDK can be downloaded via http://www.picotech.com/software.html

I hope this helps

Robin
