Questions of PT 104 for Pt100 and voltage measurement

Post by Kate Q »

Hello,

I just set up a PT 104. It's connected to a 4-wire RTD and a differential voltage measurement. My RTD is standard 0.835/C, calibrated and has 2 calibration coefficients a9 and b9. Where can I input these numbers in PT 104, for better accuracy?

The voltage actually is for pressure measurement. I wonder if there are places that picolog convert the voltage into pressure. I know the relation between measured pressure and voltage.

Thank you :D

Hi

You can scale your data in PicoLog using a linear equation or a look-up table.

In the channel settings, click on 'options' and then 'scaling'.

Under options, you can also select 'use parameter formatting' to change the units.

Alternatively, you can add a virtual channel, calculated from other channels by selecting 'settings -> calculated parameters'.

I hope this helps

Robin
