I recently downloaded the latest version of the PicoScope software and tried out the new Advanced Triggering conditions using a demo scope.
But when I connect my PicoScope 2104 handheld scope to the software, the Advanced Triggering button (on the triggering toolbar) is disabled though the other features work properly.
Is this a hardware limitation, and is there a way to use advanced triggers with my scope? I would find the advanced options really useful in my work, which frequently involves tricky pulses and complex signals.
Thank you,
Edward.

PS: I've included a Poll so Pico Tech can gather statistics for debugging purposes.
Advanced Triggering does not work with my PicoScope

Hi well the poll is inaccurate as not all the 2000 series have advanced triggering, infact the 2205 is the only one that has advanced triggering, so its not a bug. The advanced triggering is a hardware feature within the FPGA. Just to be clear here are the devices that do have advanced triggering:
2205
3224,3424,3223,3423,3425
4224,4424, 4223,4423
5203,5204
Kind regards
2205

4224,4424, 4223,4423

Kind regards

ADC-212 support?
Hi ziko, and thank you very much for your prompt, informative and conclusive answer, though it is unfortunate that my device does not support advanced triggers.
I also have a Pico Tech ADC-212/50 somewhere, though I don't have access to it right now, would this support advanced triggers?
Thank you and best regards,
Edward.
