PicoLog Recorder in windows start menu opens PicoLog Player!

OS: Windows 10 Enterprise Version: 10.0.17134 Build 17134
Device: PicoLog 1000
PicoLog software version: PicoLog 5.25.3

Issue:
When I navigate to Start->Pico Technology->PicoLog Recorder it opens up PicoLog Player, not the recorder.
I was using the recorder and suddenly it closed somehow and when I reopen the recorder, it opens the player, not the recorder. Happened around 3 times so far and had to reinstall the software to fix it. Please let me know how to fix it rather than reinstalling again and again. Because all my configurations get lost and I have to redo them again. Takes lot of time and super annoying.

If you get the Player when you try to open the Recorder it means that the Recorder is still running but has minimized to the system tray in the bottom right corner, check here for the blue PL logo.
