I am using P6 v6.2.1.12 and 3424.
When using Spectrum View, please can you tell me what, theoretically, is the effect of changing Range while using this view. (I'm using Voltage reference 1mV default, Blackman-Harris average.)
In practice, changing the range appears to have the effect of increasing or decreasing the dB level at a particular frequency.

Hi
Changing the input range should not affect the spectrum as long as the signal is not clipped.
There may be small differences due to the change in quantisation error.
If you put the software in spectrum mode and add a scope view, you can play with the ranges and see the effect of varying the range.
