Philips humidy sensor help please on DrDAQ

Post by cornz »

Purchaased a DrDAQ and had a great deal off succes with the onboard and PH sensors but need a humidity sensor and, to be honest, cant afford the proper pico one. So.......
Just purchased:

Trouble is im not sure how i wire it, i'm pretty sure its pins 2 and 4 on the DrDAQ on one of the ext connectors. but dont really understand how to make it work. Nor do i want to wreck my DrDAQ. Calibration isnt vital really as i just need some idea that the humidty is increasing or decreasing.
Can anyone help please?

Hi

The signal input pin on the sensor socket can either measure resistance or voltage (this is selected using the auto detect pin).

Your sensor's capacitance changes with humidity, so you cannot simply connect it.
