drop-down vert scale issue

Post by wcm »

I installed Picoscope6_r6_13_17 on a Dell M4700 (Win 7, 64 bit, latest updates). The first day I used it, all the drop-down settings boxes worked fine. Next day, the drop-down box for the vertical scale setting is too small to display all the possible settings. Same for both A & B channels. All other settings boxes continue to work.

I reinstalled using "repair" option-- no change.

Similar experience? Ideas? Thx.

Hi,

Does the Dell M4700 support hidpi screen resolution feature? This could be causing the issue.
Here are some possible solutions-

Thanks for your response.

1) I don't know how to find out if the M4700 supports HiDPI.
2) I obtained and ran Restoro. It found some hundreds of "problems" and "repaired" them.
3) No change to behavior of Picoscope.
4) Support for HiDPI doesn't seem to match the symptoms. Picoscope worked perfectly the first day I installed it for several runs, but showed this misbehavior the next day, even though nothing (detectable) changed on the computer. Also, the horizontal rate selection box continues to work perfectly, while both the Channel A and B vertical scale boxes are clipped as shown.
5) The video processor is listed as NVIDIA Quadro K2000M.
