5442D USB3 problem

Post by mijq0909 »

We have just switched from USB 2 to USB 3 oscilloscopes (5442D) and have a number of communication issues.

The communication to the pc seems very sensitive. We use a USB hub and had to upgrade to USB3 and also could not use a USB3 chassis feed through connector.

The most pressing problem is that once the connection is lost it is difficult to reestablish connection.

Just connecting the 5442D directly to the pc does not help. the picoscope 6 program hangs either during device enumeration or trying to get data.

Can you please give advice on a solution and/or requirements for the USB connection.

p.s. We our application needs the AWG function.
