Accessing Raw Data

Post by AeroSpace »

Hello,

I'm using a picoscope 2204a with Picolog6 for mac.

How do I access all of the raw data captured?

I can export csv files of some of the data - but it's clearly taking averages as it gives me both a maximum and minimum value / second/milisecond

I need to know each of the precise data points on the trace.

These numbers must exist because the scope has plotted the graph.

Any idea how I can get these?

Thanks!

Goto the 'Configure Data Table' dialogue by clicking on the table tab, and cog wheel or click 'Configure table' button.
Set the table data settings 'Output sample rate' to use the fastest sample rate you have set on your channels.
And the then click on 'Last' button to select the latest values for all channels. See below-
configure table.PNG
Then click the 'export' button and choose 'Export CSV' and select 'Entire capture' then click 'Export CSV'.
I suggest you update the latest version of Picolog 6 - currently 6.1.9 - https://www.picotech.com/downloads/_lig ... or-windows

Thanks for your reply

I am probably being an idiot, but is the fastest sampling time on the mac version 1ms?

I can't seem to increase it.

In order to plot the data points on the graph - the full data must exist right?

If i export the cvs file with this sampling rate i'm going to get massive aliasing. Is there any way around this?
