Acquiring spike times from the discharging of a capacitor

Post by CrespoP »

Hey guys

I am currently working a project which involves oscillators circuits. I have 2 channels attached to the capacitors of my system and I would like to capture the exact moment the capacitor discharges and to do so, it would be interesting if I could manage that by using a Python script. I was told to make use of a library called PySpike. However, from what I could read, I couldnt find out how to just capture those times. The only application which I have found so far was regarding generating a speficic spikes time train, which it is not of my interest.

If anyone knows how to move forward on this I would appreciate to discuss about.

Thanks

Not familiar with PySpike so can't comment on it's operation.

Which PicoScope do you have and are you using our Python code to control it ?
