Number of samples did not meet the requirement

Hi,

I am using the PicoScope 6 for the OcsilliScope 4824. Usually I set the number of sampling = 20kS. But recent several tests give me only about 19,000 samples. The number of samples may vary for different tests. I am not sure what happened to the software, and what should I do to correct this problem.

If you use View->ViewProperties you will get a panel on the right hand side that shows exactly how the scope is set up.

The number of the samples at the top is how many you would like to connect, however depending upon the time you have selected across the screen, and the number of channels enabled, it may not be possible to collect exactly this number. The software will set the scope up to get as close as possible, and will report these values in that panel.
