Test Leads for 3425 differential inputs

Post by bboyes »

Hi, are the automotive leads such as TA128 3m long, or the PP718 set, or the TA200 5m long series, recommended to maintain the differential performance of the 3425? The Leads I have are shorter, about 1 meter, and labeled Alpha Wire P/N 5616B2001 20 AWG and end in red and black 4mm stacking connectors and the BNC end has a black 4 mm plug I assume is the shield. I'm interested in some spares and also the longer length.
Thanks...

The 3425 leads are a balanced twisted pair with an outer shield that goes to the BNC end 4mm plug, the automotive cables are a single core with outer shield, so unfortunately not compatible.
