There is no way to do this from within the software so you would need to use Edit->CopyEntireWindowAsImage to create a screen image and then annotate this in a third party piece of software.

It's better to have a waveform annotation facility inside the wave form. it helps a lot when you are analyzing waveform for future you. I wonder why picoscope people did not include it in the software..

Having the same issue! Please add this feature in future updates. Would be a real time saver!!
I would settle for being able to find a 3rd party screen overlay program.
Something that is transparent but could add text to show which trace is what. It is also hard to match up the trace color with the channel settings to see what channel it is even. I'm sure that this must be a nightmare for color blind engineers and technicians. A program would certainly help if anyone knows of any.
I find that post-it notes do not always stick very well to the sides of my screen and when I move a trace, I have to move the post-it-note as well.
