Measure min, mean & max delay between polls

Post by wittrup »

I'm using PicoScope to look at a digital signal, and would like to measure the minimum, mean and maximum delay between polls. That is the time spent from end of slave reply to beginning of next master request. Is there anyway to achieve this with PicoScope?

Also it would be neat for the serial decoder to put together the packets correctly, instead it of splitting it into every byte. There should be 6 packets in this scenario, not 56.

Any input is appreciated :)

There is no direct way in the software to time between packets when using a 2204a, although you will see start and end times in the decoding table. You could export this data to a csv file and then process the times in excel or similar software.

Defining the structure of packets has been raised before and is a feature request with the development team so I will add yours to this.
