Windows XP?

Post by breckymorris »

Hi,

I need to be able to run Picoscope with a 4262 on Windows XP and be able to write my own program to analyze data collected as part of that program. It looks like the last version to run on XP is 6.11 and I'm not sure if the example program on GitHub works on XP (I can compile it on Win 7, if that helps). I'd like to get a copy of that along with the SDK and Programming Guide, if possible. I looked at the download page and the earliest version available looks like 6.12.

Thanks,
Brecky

Hi Brecky

The latest version of the SDK that is compatible with XP (SP3) can be downloaded from here for 32 bit https://www.picotech.com/download/softw ... .10.22.exe or here for 64 bit https://www.picotech.com/download/softw ... .10.22.exe

The examples shouldn't matter whether you are running on Windows XP but that may vary for particular programming languages repos.

If you do have problems with getting the examples to work on XP with the SDKs linked above either come back on this forum or by email to support@picotech.com
