Pt-104 Accuracy

Post by Guest »

Hi,
I am interested in using the Pt-104 with thin film 1/3 DIN B sensors (100 Ohm) in a 4-wire configuration. The tolerance of the sensors at 0 Celsius is +-0.1 C.

Can you please advise what the expected total accuracy (Pico + sensor) will be if no calibration is performed?

Can I maintain this accuracy if I interchange probes of the same tolerance?

Thanks,
Marco

Hello,

i have this instrument here, very nice
item and very exact - with your application
the sensor will be the main problem - the
accuracy of the PT-104 is at least 10 times better
than the tolerance of your sensor.

greetings,
marco

Hello Marco,

Tolerances are summed as a basic rule.

Our most accurate sensor is the SE012 1/10th DIN Precision Probe, with a tolerance of ±0.03 at °C . http://www.picotech.com/pt100_sensors.html
