Picoscope Windows 10 Unattended Installation

Post by BecketIT »

Hi guys,

I work in a school, and our science department love Picoscope, and we have been using it for years.

We've been upgrading our workstations to Windows 10, and I'm having problems creating a silent installation for Picoscope6. I've read the forums, and they are saying the following:
Hi

You can do a silent install using the following command:

picoscope6_r6_2_2.exe /s /v"INSTALL_ALL_CONVERTERS="Yes" /qn"

Robin
(Ref:topic4836.html)

I tried this out, and to no avail. It seems that the .exe takes the silent command switches, but it just stops installing at some point of the installation.

If I try to install it manually, however, it works perfectly.

Does anyone have any idea as to what this could potentially be?

Thanks,
Alicia

Hitesh

Hi Alicia,

Its quite possible that this is due to needing to manually accept the driver installation.

Please e-mail support@picotech.com to discuss this further.
