ps4000aGetTimebase Problems

Post by MikeJames »

Hi,

I have a sample size of 500,000 and require a sample interval of 1600ns.
Using the calculation on page 3.7 of the 4000 Series Programmers Guide (version r1) this equates to a Timebase of 127.
When I use this value in the ps4000aGetTimebase function call, timeIntervalNanoseconds has a value of 2500ns.
If I set the Timebase to 82 I get the correct interval of 1600ns.

What am I doing wrong?

Regards, Mike.
