I have been using an older version of the provided Drivers on a 3205. I have been using PS3000con.c, slightly modified to trigger on the external trigger and read channels A and B. I compile on the standard Linux C compiler. Recently, I bought 8 more 3205's to ramp up my research and discovered that the new versions are blue (instead of white). As well, the old Driver causes a segmentation fault whenever the thing triggers. I have no idea what causes this.
So, I tried to use the new code and can't get it to work on my Linux compiler. It compiles fine, but it when it triggers it reads jibberish. I have spent the last week rechecking every thing and as far as I can tell the Driver code is fine. I am thinking that the problem is likely that the new Driver doesn't work in my linux environment. Any ideas?
