Mains conducted emissions testing with Picoscope

Post by eem2am » Sun Apr 09, 2017 7:49 pm

Hello,
We are making a LISN and wish to connect it to the Picoscope 2205A for doing Mains conducted emissions testing for our 150W LED streetlight. Is this possible?
Its only a rough test and we appreciate that we wont be able to go above 25MHz, the bandwodth f the Pico 2205A. However, its better than nothing and may help us spend less money at EMC test houses.

You will need to make sure that you use the appropriate CAT rated differential probes, or appropriate isolation, if you wish to use a 2205a for mains measurements.
