No Linux support?

Post by Derree »

Hello everyone!

I got a ps 2206b as a loan to decide if I buy a picoscope to replace my crappy siglent 1104x-e pile of junk or not. Unfortunately I can't find any Linux software to download, except the picoscope 7 beta software. Isn't there a picoscope 6 download for Linux available? To not have a stable software support under Linux would be a deal breaker for me. Thanks in advance!

The PS7 Early Access will become the stable version across all three platforms in a few weeks, we are just cleaning up some minor issues. Therefore I would suggest you try PS7 to see how you get on.

Hi Martyn,

thank you very much for your fast reply. I already tested ps 7 on Linux, and it works just fine, but apart from the fact that it isn't stable yet, there is one huge problem: the timebase adjustment doesn't work with the mouse's scrollweel. Is there a solution to this issue?

We are aware of the issue with the mouse scroll wheel and it is in the list of bugs to fix. It affects the Mac version as well.
