PicoScope demo on Linux: no "Signal Generator" button.

Post by Xocas »

Hi, I'm considering to buy a PicoScope model 2205A to be used with Ubuntu. I have downloaded, installed and successfully run the PicoScope software ver. 6.14.23 demo on my Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS. But this demo, included with the PicoScope software for Linux, doesn't have a "Signal Generator" button.
As the model 2205A has a signal generator, and the information in the official PicoScope web site specifies support for the Signal Generator feature on Linux, I assume that the Signal Generator support and the Signal Generator button are included in the PicoScope program for Linux, when working in "real mode" with a 2205A model connected to the PC USB port.
¿Can you confirm my assumption?.

Hi Xocas,

The answer is yes. Have a look at this post: topic40532.html?&p=143906&hilit=ubuntu+ ... or#p143906.
