Picoscope cannot detect 2204A on linuxmint

Hi ,
on linux mint
I am using a PicoScope 2204A on Linux Mint system and the software cannot detect the device.
all it's installed and with :sudo ./usbtest thedeviceit's ok
anyone can help me in solve this issue?

Hi cbius6,

Please could you locate the trace.xml file after the device is not detected (close the software first)?

Please navigate to:

Code: Select all

~/.local/share/Pico\ Technology/
Then, in a folder with a long alphanumeric name beginning with '2' you can find the trace.xml file.

Have you tested the device on another PC (including one running a Windows operating system) and with another USB cable?

after many test i've solved .
now i'm trying to configure Picoscope software ...
Why there are less option than windows version ?
how to print a report ?

Woulkd You please share how You solved it? I have the same problem, usbtest works fine, lsusb lists the device, but the software doesn't find it.
