Hi,
I’m working with 4824 and using one of example codes, PS4000a Block. I’d like to write a code for realtime measurement. I don’t
know how to modify it. It looks for me very hard to understand timebase and other time things.
Could you give me some hints or comments for it?

Hi David,
It might be useful to know how long you need to capture data for and at what sampling interval.
For short term captures of fast signals, the block mode method of capture would be recommended. For long term captures, we recommend using the streaming example as a basis for your code.
For the former, setting the sampling interval is via a timebase index which can be calculated using the formulae in the Programmer's Guide.
