Hello. New user with a problem

I'm an automotive technician in Texas, USA. I just bought a Pico 2204 and downloaded the auto version of Pico 6. When I plug my USB device into my laptop, the device appears in the list of USB devices on my task bar identified as PicoScope. However, when I start the Pico software, I get a warning message that no suitable device has been found. Would I like to run in demo mode? Is there anyone here who could help me resolve this issue? Thank you in advance, for any assistance that is offered.

You have purchased one of our Test and Measurement scopes which will not work with the Automotive or Diagnostic software, and will not give you access to the online waveform library.
