TC-08 hunidty

Post by Canyondust2 »

I am using the tc-08 with k-types to log an impact of insulation using 4 channels.
I also wish to measure humidity changes.
Dewing would also be helpful.
Any suggested sensors to enable this?

Hi Canyondust2,

I would suggest getting a low cost DrDaq (see here: https://www.picotech.com/data-logger/drdaq/overview) to perform the humidity readings, which is set up to work with a range of sensors. What we have available from our product line-up is this humidity sensor: https://www.picotech.com/accessories/dr ... ity-sensor (note that you would need to use a temperature sensor, such as this one: https://www.picotech.com/accessories/dr ... ure-sensor, to compensate the humidity readings).

Hi nscragg,

Yes, you can create a Math Channel, as shown below:

Hi,

I have TC-08 data logger and need to measure humidity. Can I use the Single-channel TC-08 terminal board to interface it with the following sensor: https://www.se.com/uk/en/product/TM1SHC ... C-4-20-ma/

Or perhaps you have some other suggestions - looking for a cheap solution to measure humidity.

Thanks,
Patryk
