pt-104 and PP660 with 2-wire thermocouples

Post by briankvedaras »

Is it possible to use the typical 2-pin connector type thermocouple sensors with the PT-104?
Presumably it would require a PP660 wired to a female 2-wire thermocouple-type socket. Is there any application note or guidance that you can point me at please.

Unfortunately not as they are two different measurement techniques. The PT104 measures the change in the resistance of the sensor as the temperature changes, a thermocouple generates a voltage which changes relative to temperature. You need to use PT100 or PT1000 sensors with a PT104.
