TC-08 Datalogger Calibration Procedure

Post by RAJIPCE » Fri May 24, 2019 5:51 pm

Team,
Is there any calibration required to perform for TC-08 calibration with calibration centers or User can do calibration with known sensors?

Any factory set point inside the logger to be updated for calibration or How actually the calibration works with the data logger (internal offsets table or external data points for offset)?

Hi RAJIPCE,

Our TC-08 data loggers are factory calibrated using an internal test procedure which updates data internally. The only way that you could have a unit re-calibrated to alter the internal information, would be to return the device to our test and repair team at our UK facilities & Global HQ (as listed on our website).

However, you can send the unit to an external Cal Lab to perform a calibration that will provide you with changes that you can implement as a Scaling table (in our PicoLog Software) for the unit, or you could do this yourself, if you have a suitably accurate sensor or simulator. The scaling table corrects individual data points, and is read by PicoLog 6 during operation.

Regards,

Thanks for the reply!
I understood the procedure to do calibration. How long the factory set calibration table is valid? Or What would be the appropriate interval for sending the logger for calibration which recording ambient temperature? Based on this, we can take up the logger and do external calibration.

Thanks in advance!
