Picoscope 4262 signal generator

Post by Bambam »

Hello,
after reading the specs on the Picoscope 4262 it seems like the perfect match for me. Only the limited output voltage of the signal generator (+ -1V) is a problem for me. Is there an addon / workaround to increase this output voltage?

Many thanks!

I use this for output amp.
It has a default amplification of 33 (i have changed mine to 10 by changing a smd resistor)

Be aware the output impedance is almost 0 ohm zo if you shortcircuit the output you will blow up the amplifier.
Best to put a 100 ohm resistor in series with the output so the output impedance will be 100 ohm.

And you need a power supply providing -30 0 and +30V then you can get about +/- 27V output voltage.

Hello Benno,

thanks for the link. I didn´t see any specs about THD of the modul?

-> I would use the Picoscpe for THD measurements. I need +-2V rms.

This is chineese export so I don't expect a good THD.

If you only need 2V rms (I suspect audio quality control) you can build your own with a low noise opamp.
