PicoScope 2205A does not work on Raspi 4B 8GB

Post by Michael2395 »

Hello everyone, I am currently trying to earn the PicoScope 2205A with the PicoLog6.2.9 installed on a new Raspberry pi 4B 8GB. Unfortunately the device is not recognized correctly. The screen of the PicoLog turns white for a few seconds and you can hear that the relay in the device is switching. The whole thing seems to hang in a continuous loop. The relay switches again and again, but the device is not recognized correctly. An older PicoScope2208BMSO is recognized on the same Raspberry without any problems.

If I switch to an older Raspberry 3B, the 2205A also works without any problems.

I have already tried different operating systems, but the error remains the same. The 2205A does not start properly on the Raspi 4B.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to rectify the error?

The driver for 2204A and 2205A (ps2000 API on armhf/Pi) has been broken for quite a while but the good news is that this has been fixed.
This will be available in the next public release of PicoLog 6.
