Intermittent voltage drop

Post by Andrew101 »

I couldn't find any other thread on this here.
Recently purchased PicoLog1012 recording shows intermittent voltage drops 1.0 s - 1.5 s on all active inputs. It took some time to realize that the drop is not caused by faulty signal source. Finally I connected one input of the logger to DC power supply and can see the same phenomenon. This happens about 5-10 times in 24 h. Version 6.1.8.
I hope you can see the screenshot.
How could I find what is wrong in my data logging system?

Can you send a .picolog file showing the issue to support@picotech.com , and we can take a look to see what the problem is.

Hi I am experiencing the same problem. PicoLog 1216 running 6.1.7.

I confirmed that it is not a real signal by having a standalone oscilloscope measure the same line and it never triggered.

Email sent.

I have the same kind of issue with the logging I am doing. Some of my channels are measuring AC current. Current is measured with a current transformer and is input into the 1012 data logger via a capacitor and a diode. Over the course of a 24 hour recording there's lots of these random drop outs.
