Capture Time

Post by hudsonvx »

Hi,

hope someone can help. I use different Pico Scopes for analysing transient events. The scope will save a .psdata file every time it triggers. What does the 'Capture Time' exactly mean? Is it really the time (from the windows computer) where the trigger occurs or can it be the time when data capture is finished (and file is written). Attached a screenshot to show what I'm asking for.

Kind regards
Oliver

Tested this with PS7 and it is the time at the end of the traced.
so when the whole trace is completed. (simple measure if you set timebase to 5 sec / div)
