We are seeking current sensor for power quality and current zero switching control study,
phase shift is very important for this sensor. There are some AC/DC pico current probe, but no details for phase shift in the datasheet, it is difficult to make decision for purchase.
The current sensor has no phase shift only a propagation delay.
I have attached a psdatafile for 12A pulse measurements delays between
1. Shunt resistor (no delay of course)
2. Fluke 80i-110s current probe
3. Hantec CC-65
4. Pico TA300
All are on the correct values after about 10uS.
When you are using it on more or less 50Hz sine wave this delay will be even less. Because this pulse was from 0 to 12A in 0.1uS
Thanks for your answer.
You are using TA300 which is powered via USB.
But I'm interesting in BNC connector type connecting to scope, it is powerup by 9 V battery, how long will the battery last? it is similar with multimeter power consumption?
